YES WE CAN!

In Adelaide late last year the local newspaper, “The Advertiser”, fortunately for residents, obtained plans for a proposed new flight path over Adelaide’s northern suburbs. After a campaign by the newspaper & residents the plan was scrapped in February this year.

A new flight path that had been implemented for Brisbane Airport which passed over the Gold Coast was withdrawn after pressure from the local community.

After considerable pressure from residents a Curfew was applied to Sydney Airport in 1995. The Curfew was last amended on the 10^th October 2006. The Curfew applies between the hours of 11pm till 6am the next day.

So...it has been shown that if considerable pressure is brought to bear we do have a real chance of stopping these new flight paths, as a community we need to act quickly and act now.
