Can we stop it?
YES WE CAN!
In Adelaide late last year the local newspaper, “The Advertiser”, fortunately for residents, obtained plans for a proposed new flight path over Adelaide’s northern suburbs. After a campaign by the newspaper & residents the plan was scrapped in February this year.

A new flight path that had been implemented for Brisbane Airport which passed over the Gold Coast was withdrawn after pressure from the local community.
After considerable pressure from residents a Curfew was applied to Sydney Airport in 1995. The Curfew was last amended on the 10th October 2006. The Curfew applies between the hours of 11pm till 6am the next day.
So...it has been shown that if considerable pressure is brought to bear we do have a real chance of stopping these new flight paths, as a community we need to act quickly and act now.
