So where's our say? Perth Hills residents seek fair skies, a fair go and a right to have their say. Is that too much to ask in a 21st century democracy?
Why are so many Hills residents so angry?
Many residents in the Hills move there for the peace and tranquility, which has been ruined by the new flight paths. Sure, everyone expects certain levels of noise living close to a city, but the levels of noise pollution in certain Hills suburbs is now unbearable for many.
If Scarborough had their beach taken away ... if Fremantle lost their Markets ... those residents too would be upset. People move to the hills for the peace, and now without warning they find themselves victims to excessive noise pollution and woken by aircraft throughout the night.
Do you believe AirServices Australia have handled this matter well? We don't believe so. We ask AirServices Australia ... Where's our say? ... Why were we not even consulted? ... and How does AirServices Australia perceive the Australian democratic process?
We will gladly publish a reply from AirServices Australia on this website.
